Astroparticle built the Barn on July 7, 2014 for the original Murder Mystery, according to the wiki, but it was never added there and only entered the game with Murder Mystery 2. The exact day is uncertain: the infobox reads January 5, 2015 with the note Presumably, while the lead says it was not added until MM2's release on December 25, 2014. The wiki does not settle which is right.
It was used only in two bonus rounds, Wild West and Infection. The map is large and open, which suits bonus rounds because shooting from far away is easy. The barn can be climbed to the roof and has three floors inside. Outside are fuel tanks, construction materials and vehicles, and far from the barn stands a house with a boys-only room and bathroom, a living room with a dining table and Nikilis's room. In Wild West, the red team spawned at the house and the blue team behind or inside the barn.

Barn left when Bonus Rounds ended on December 23, 2015, as Pond did. It returned in the 2022 Halloween Event as a revamped Barn (Infection).
