Barn (Infection)

Barn (Infection) is the map that starts a game mode. When voting picks it, the round is an Infection round, and the wiki warns that XP cannot be earned there. It was added on October 16th, 2022 with the Halloween Event 2022 and is a larger Halloween remake of the old Barn, built by Zyleak. It is also known simply as Barn, which is why the wiki adds a note not to confuse it with the earlier one.

The setting is open farmland with farm equipment, a huge barn, silos and a small house. The old Barn from the Bonus Rounds had the same kind of barn, gas tanks and house outside; what changed is that the rooms inside the house are completely different and the silos are new. Pumpkins are scattered around for the Halloween look.

Hiding spots listed: under the stairs in the barn, on the barn roof, inside the house, behind the farm containers outside and behind the trees outside.

The wiki calls it the first Bonus Round map to return since the old ones were removed in 2015, and says it only comes back during Halloween events.

Whether it counts as new is disputed. The Halloween Event 2022 page says no new maps were introduced and that four old maps, Manor, Farmhouse, Barn and Mineshaft, returned. The Timeline page says the event brought two new maps, Mineshaft and Barn (Infection).
