- A different, older Aurora gun exists from the 2019 Christmas Event.
Aurora guide
Aurora Gun (2021) is the older-and-newer problem in one item: the wiki notes that a different Aurora gun already existed from the Christmas Event 2019, so the year is part of the name. This one was the reward for tier 19 of the Main Event in the Christmas Event 2021. Per the event page, each tier cost 800 Snow Tokens and the first tier was free. The event is over and the gun is a trading-only item.
Appearance
The frame and handle are black with a few stars, like a night sky. The barrel and its accents take the green and pink colors of an aurora, which gives the gun its name.
Tier conflict
The Aurora Gun (2021) page gives tier 3, but the Legendary Weapons table lists tier 2. The two do not match, and nothing on either page settles it, so the tier is better treated as unresolved. The rarity is Legendary in both places.
Set
- Partner: Aurora Knife (2021), unboxed from the 2021 Christmas Box.
- Split sources: the gun from the pass, the knife from the box.

Where the wiki disagrees
