Batwing

Batwing went on sale as a gamepass on October 26, 2018, during the Halloween Event, for 2,499 Robux. The pass is now off sale, which leaves trading as the way to own it.

An item that began as a private one

The wiki says Batwing started as a Nikilis-only item. That is why the teal reskin Nik's Scythe exists: it is a gift from him. Release went badly, though. The gamepass was duped in large numbers, and the owner dealt with it by converting the duped copies into a common knife. It was also a favorite target of the later duping glitches, according to the wiki.

Design and standing

The knife is a scythe with a long, slim black handle, a bat-skull clamp with a red crystal, and blades made from red and black bat wings. Its model derives from the Roblox gear Bat Scythe.

It was the first ancient shop item in Murder Mystery 2. Players often pair it with the godly gun Darkbringer, but the wiki is explicit that the two are not a set. Treat that pairing as a look players like, not a bonus the game gives.
