Cotton Candy guide
Cotton Candy did not come from Murder Mystery 2 at all, at least not directly. You earned it in a different Roblox experience, Space Tycoon: reach 10 million coins in that game, buy the Cotton Candy badge there, and then claim the knife in Murder Mystery 2. The promotion ended, and the knife is now a trading item.
How limited it was
The wiki's trivia says it is thought to have been available only from June to September 2016, because the badge was updated in September and YouTube tutorials appeared in June. It also reports that only 14,927 people earned this badge, against 88,602 for the Asteroid Gun badge from the same experience.
Appearance
The blade resembles cotton candy, one half pink and the other blue. The guard is light blue and the handle is a darker blue.
Pairing and later history
It is commonly paired with the common gun Asteroid, but the two are not considered a set. The wiki says that, unlike other collectibles, it was not heavily targeted in duping, though it was decently targeted in the 2022 duping glitch. It also notes the model was published by Nikilis.
