What to know about Frozen

  • Has a matching gun with the same name.
  • It was the weapon used to craft the Nightsky effect during the event.
  • Infobox lists a tier range of 2 - 3.

Frozen guide

The Frozen knife has a second job besides being a weapon: the wiki says it was the knife used to craft the Nightsky effect during the Christmas Event 2025. It came from the 2025 Christmas Box, which cost 600 Snow Tokens or 1 Snow Key per opening, with a 5% chance for the Legendary slot.

Look

The blade is blue with intricate swirling patterns engraved across its whole surface. The handle matches in blue with the same swirl design, and a blue guard separates the two. A Frozen gun with the same name was the Battle Pass partner.

Source wording

The knife's infobox shows "2025 Christmas Box" with no "(Formerly)" tag, and the lead does not say the event is over. Yet the Christmas Event 2025 page says the event ended on January 19, 2026, and the Crafting page lists the Nightsky effect recipe as removed. With that, this site treats the knife as available only through trading. The tier range of 2 - 3 is as written on the knife's page (the Legendary Weapons table lists tier 3), with no single value chosen.

The wiki does not give any information on the exact crafting costs, so none are given here.

Where the wiki disagrees

These pages of the MM2 Wiki give different answers. Both are shown instead of picking one.

  • Infobox obtain field has no '(Formerly)' tag and the lead does not say the event is over, but the Christmas Event 2025 page says the event ended 2026-01-19 and the Crafting page lists the Nightsky effect recipe as removed. Treated as not obtainable.
  • The Frozen Knife (2025) infobox lists tier 2 - 3, while the Legendary Weapons table lists tier 3.
