The Shadow sword is Sailor Piece's homage to dark-power wielders everywhere — equal parts Kageyama's volleyball genius metaphor and the shadow manipulation mastered by Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling. Locked behind the Shadowborn race, it rewards players who committed early to that lineage with a sword kit that drips atmospheric style: dark-energy beams, phantom-clone assists, and a sweeping ultimate that floods the arena in shadow. Mechanically it is one of the strongest gap-closers in the game, turning distance into a liability for opponents who prefer ranged builds.

Shadow thrives on a Speed-heavy build amplified by the natural Shadowborn race bonuses. The phantom-clone mechanic in particular synergizes with any Fruit that generates copies or persistent hitboxes — the clones effectively double your ability pressure. In PvP the optimal loop is to use the gap-closer to enter range, deploy clone assists to confuse the opponent's dodge timing, then unload the dark-beam combo while they're still reacting. Endurance as a tertiary stat gives you survivability for the combo windows.

Shadowborn race plus 10 000 000 Beli, 15 000 Gems, or 999 Robux is the unlock equation for Shadow. The Shadowborn gate drives demand because the race itself is uncommon, mirroring how even Jinwoo's shadow army members were rare prizes. Trade value is firmly in the upper-mid mythical tier — expect to trade two or three standard mythicals to acquire it. The sword's aesthetic appeal to Solo Leveling fans inflates demand beyond its raw stats, creating a collector-market premium on top of the gameplay premium.
