Steal a Brainrot Halloween Update: Haunted Fuse, Eclipse Mutation and Skull Lucky Block

Quick Summary

Updates 69 and 70 of Steal a Brainrot (October 2026): the Haunted Fuse, the Eclipse mutation, the Skull Lucky Block with its drop odds and the Skeleton base, summarized from the wiki.

The Halloween content of Steal a Brainrot arrived in two steps. Update 69, on October 3, 2026, brought the Haunted Fuse machine and the Eclipse mutation. Update 70, documented on the wiki around October 10 and 11, added the Skull Lucky Block and a Skeleton base. Between them they add more than twenty new brainrots, so this guide gathers what the community wiki records about each piece, with the numbers that matter for deciding where to spend your cash. Everything here comes from the wiki's update logs and entity pages. None of it comes from our own in-game testing, and the developer can change any number in a later patch.

The updates at a glance

  • Update 68 (September 26, 2026, 7:00 PM UTC): the Jump for Eggs limited-time mode and 11 new brainrots. It is the lead-in to the Halloween content.
  • Update 69 (October 3, 2026): the Haunted Fuse, which replaced the Craft Machine, plus the Eclipse mutation and a batch of Halloween brainrots.
  • Update 70 (around October 10 and 11, 2026): the Skull Lucky Block with eight brainrots, and a new Skeleton base.
  • Update 71: the wiki already has a page for it, but at the time of writing the page is empty, so nothing about it is confirmed.

The wiki's Update 69 page counts nine new brainrots in its overview but lists eleven by name, so we use the list. Treat the headline numbers on any wiki page as approximate and the named lists as the more reliable part.

The Haunted Fuse

The Haunted Fuse is the machine at the center of Update 69. The wiki says it started on October 3, 2026, replaced the Craft Machine, and looks like a haunted house, similar in spirit to the Witch Fuse of the previous Halloween. It was teased a week early: the machine was already in the game but blackened and unusable. It also has a special animation in which the fuse appears to eat the brainrots you feed it and then lets out a wicked laugh when the result comes out.

The machine returned six older brainrots: Tartaragno, Pinealotto Fruttarino, Mummio Rappitto, Quackula, Buho de Fuego and Magi Ribbitini. It also introduced these new ones, with base stats from the wiki:

Phoenix is the best result of the machine and ties with Los Dragons as the best Secret in the game by income. Plant Bros has a special recipe: fusing Orchidox and Venuspino gives it a 50% chance, which is not guaranteed even with both inputs, and the wiki notes that Orchidox had roughly 525 copies in existence, so the output may end up very scarce. The fuse table gives odds only for some results, for example 36% for Penguino Pumpkino and 24% for Frostino Vampiro at best, and lists many as unknown, so avoid planning around odds you read elsewhere.

One curiosity recorded by the wiki: for a short time Capitano Gullini and Coco and Mango could be obtained from the fuse by mistake. The developer disabled the machine for a few minutes to fix it, so some copies with the Eclipse mutation of those two probably exist.

The Eclipse mutation

The Eclipse mutation arrived with the same update. The wiki's mutation page lists it as a 14x multiplier, the best in the game, and describes it as a black brainrot with yellow eyes, legs and other parts and a bright sun above it. It used to be called Celestial. The wiki says it was released on October 2, while the Eclipse Event page gives October 3 as the start, so the exact hour is unclear.

The event that applies it runs every hour on weekends and every two hours on weekdays, according to the wiki. The page still marks most of the event's details as to be announced, so we do not list reward odds. A trivia line on that page says the multiplier is 13.5x, which conflicts with the 14x on the mutation page. We use 14x because it appears in the main mutation table.

How the multiplier works matters if you want to estimate income: the wiki formula is the brainrot's base income times the mutation multiplier, plus the trait multipliers. An Eclipse Phoenix would therefore have a base of 14 times $425M per second before any traits.

The Skull Lucky Block

Update 70 added the Skull Lucky Block, the second Halloween lucky block after the Spooky Lucky Block. It costs $500M, does not earn money itself, and gives one brainrot after its opening timer. The wiki lists eight possible results:

About 83% of openings give one of the first three, so the block works like a lottery ticket. The real prizes are Flying Dutchman and Dragon Skeletonini, which have a combined chance of 0.6%. Dragon Skeletonini costs $325B to buy outright, repays its price in about 1,000 seconds and is a reskin of Dragon Cannelloni with only bones left. If you only want cheap Secrets for the index, Grim Cheese and Zombie Bowl come up often, but they are also low-value in trades for the same reason.

Update 70 also lists a new Skeleton base. The pages we checked do not say how to unlock it, so we do not guess. The wiki also has a page for Snakini Splittini, an ice-cream snake leaked on October 9, but its stats are still marked as to be announced, so it is not counted as released.

Recap of the weeks before

The Halloween content follows three smaller weekly updates. Update 66 brought the Craft Machine back with nine new brainrots: Koala Parabala, Hippo Jacuzzo, Pelican Pachetto, Deputy Leopard, Chicli Chicla, Panda Popanda, La Craft Machine, Gold and Diamond and Los Dragons. Update 67 added three more, Cola Cat, Hydra Serpent and Zebrino Pianino. Update 68 added the Jump for Eggs mode, where you train on trampolines to earn XP and unlock higher islands, plus eleven brainrots such as Ranito Pepito, Ski Ski Skunki, Capibaro Celestino and Draculino. Los Dragons, from the Craft Machine, is the other brainrot that ties Phoenix at $425M per second, which is why the Craft Machine removal in Update 69 matters: its recipes are no longer on the menu.

What to do first

  1. 1If you have spare brainrots, check the Haunted Fuse table before buying anything: Oni Oni Panda has the fastest payback among the cheaper Secrets, about 1 minute 44 seconds at base value.
  2. 2For the largest income, aim at Phoenix or the Plant Bros recipe, but only if you can accept losing the inputs.
  3. 3Open Skull Lucky Blocks as soon as the timer allows, and keep the common results for the index or trades.
  4. 4Keep an eye on the wiki's Update 71 page, which is empty today.
