Tyre

The Tyre is a pure Scrap item in 99 Nights in the Forest, meaning it carries no hunger value, no combat stats, and no equip slot. Its entire reason for existing is the scrap economy: you grind it down at a recycler to feed into crafting and base upgrades rather than ever holding it as a tool.

What makes the Tyre slightly awkward is its spawn location. It is usually found in the Campfire Level 4 regions, the deeper and more dangerous tiers of the map, and only occasionally turns up in Campfire Level 3. That places it past the early-game safety zone, so a trip to collect Tyres normally means you are already pushing into wolf and bear territory with proper gear.

Is it worth grabbing for survival? Only as an opportunistic pickup. You should never make a dedicated run for a single Tyre, but if you are already clearing a Level 4 area for chests, kills, or rarer loot, tossing nearby Tyres into your scrap pile is free progress toward the metal and parts your camp needs. Treat it as a convenient bonus, not a target.
