99 Nights in the Forest โ€“ Crafting Recipes Cheat Sheet (2026)

The Crafting Bench is your workshop for everything that is not found in chests. This cheat sheet lists every recipe, its ingredients, and what it does โ€” organized by type so you can quickly find what you need.

Survival Essentials

ItemIngredientsEffect
Map3 WoodShows map (press M)
Sun Dial5 Scrap + 5 ScrapDay/night timer display
Bunny Trap5 Wood (up to 10ร—)Catches 4 Morsels if baited with Carrot
Bear Trap3 Scrap + 3 Scrap (up to 8ร—)Traps and slows enemies

Map tip: Craft a Map immediately on Day 1. It costs only 3 Wood and shows the campfire, key locations, and biome zones. Without it you will get lost.

Bear Trap tip: Bear Traps slow down Bears (350 HP) and can be placed at chokepoints around camp for Cultist raids. The Hunter class starts with 2 Bear Traps and gets them from the Big Game Hunter class too.

Food and Farming

ItemIngredientsEffect
Farm Plot20 Wood + 20 Wood (up to 20ร—)Grows crops every 2 days
Crock Pot15 Wood + 10 Scrap + 15 Wood + 10 ScrapMakes Stew (no berries); passive hunger fill

Farm Plot tip: Build up to 20 Farm Plots for a passive food supply. Crops take 2 real days (in-game time) to grow. Farmer class (80D) waters plots for rarer crops (Level 1), can grow apple trees from saplings (Level 2), and guarantees a Pumpkin from every watered plot (Level 3).

Crock Pot tip: Cannot use Berries as ingredients. Steak + any vegetable makes a filling Stew. More filling than raw ingredients. Cook (40D) class speeds up the Crock Pot by 20% at Level 2 and has a 25% chance to produce Hearty Stew at Level 3.

Carrot Cake note: Night Vision for 9 minutes is enormous for nighttime scouting. The Carrot Cake is one of the best food items in the game for players who need to move at night.

Teleporter tip: Incredibly useful for late-game runs when you need to move between the Cultist Stronghold, biomes, and camp quickly. Build one at camp and one at the Stronghold.

Temporal Accelerometer tip: Skipping nights is invaluable for a Swiftness badge run (99 days in 90 minutes or less). Each skipped night saves several minutes of real time.

Gem of the Forest: Required for the Respawn Capsule, Weather Machine, and Temporal Accelerometer. Built from 4 Gem of the Forest Fragments, which drop from the Cultist Stronghold, Ruby Chests, and from Cultists post-Day 100.
