Description
The Saber Expert is a Lv. 200 boss. The Saber Expert has red hair, wears a white vest-type shirt and a black cape and has brown to black pants. He has a short beard and a small moustache and he bears a double scar beneath his left eye.

The player cannot deal damage to the Saber Expert if they are below Lv. 200 or has not completed the Saber Expert puzzle.

Although, using certain moves of certain Blox Fruits or swords (such as Dough, Creation, Dark Dagger, etc.) can bug the Saber Expert out of its room.

The Saber Expert will fully regenerate his health rapidly in a short period of time if the player doesn’t keep attacking him.

Defeating the Saber Expert is required for obtaining Instinct.

In order to obtain the Saber, the player needs to do at least 10% of the damage.

One method to defeat the Saber Expert is to try to perform the "Hit and Run". It consists of the player dodging into the Saber Expert, landing a hit and dodging away before he reacts and hits them. If done correctly and efficiently, the player should be able to consistently land hits on the Saber Expert without it hitting them. (However, this is very risky, as he deals extremely high and fast. This makes the “hit and run” strategy viable when using Light or Blade, as Blade might serve as an alternative to the Light Fruit)

Light and Ice are recommended for this method. Stay out of the door and repetitively attack him from outside with long/mid-ranged moves as he can’t get out. (Note: the player should make sure not to run out of energy, otherwise they won't be able to dodge. The player will get hit every once in a while, due to the Saber Expert's abilities.) The player is also recommended to use a Blox Fruit or a weapon that works in a small location, due to the Saber Expert’s spawn being in a small place.

It is normal for players under Lv. 300 to die numerous times to the boss, as he is considerably harder than other bosses at the level (eg. Warden). However, they should be sure to get back to the room in time, or else the Saber Expert’s health will rapidly regenerate.

The Saber Expert can get stuck on the square bump in between the stairs, which can also make him considerably easier to beat.
