Description
The Gorilla King is a Lv. 25 boss. The Gorilla King resembles Gorillas, but bigger. There are certain distinguishing features, such as the crown on its head, its different skin color and the Aura that covers its hands. The Gorilla King can be found near the small isle that connects to the main Jungle, beside the Gorillas.

The Gorilla King makes it difficult for newer players to fight without a Blox Fruit. One method to defeat The Gorilla King is to trap him on the grass-wedge to the right of where he spawns. The player can then simply assault him till he dies, but otherwise avoid his strikes because he can deliver 27.7 damage with a single punch.

It is recommended to buy Rocket from stock as it's [Z] move is ranged, so the player can avoid getting hit by his Consecutive Ground Slam move. Also, reset your Stats to a fruit main.

Another method for defeating The Gorilla King is to try the "Hit and run" technique. The player needs to dodge into the boss, land a hit, and dodge away before the boss reacts. This is hard to master but if perfected, will be very useful in later boss fights (Note: the player will need a good amount of energy to be able to dodge consistently).

Players with low health should be extremely wary of the AoE ground smash strike, which can kill them in a second. His ground smash stuns and does 12.3 damage every hit, for a total of 73.8 damage, which is about 3/4 of a beginner player's HP.

One of the best ways to defeat The Gorilla King is to go to the elevated grass slabs around the spawn area. The Gorilla King will be stuck on the ground, and the player can perform other techniques (like the Hit and Run) to deal damage. However, be cautious of the Consecutive Ground Slams since they can deal huge damage.
