Fighting Style · Blox Fruits
Costs & Requirements
Description
Every Blox Fruits player starts their journey with Combat, the default fighting style handed to newcomers the moment they enter the game. It requires no Beli, no trainer, and no Devil Fruit — just a willingness to throw hands. Combat's kit is simple and straightforward: Normal Punches string together rapid light hits, Quick Tackle closes distance with a lunging strike, and Ground Smash brings a downward blow that deals area damage at close range. Mastery rises naturally by landing these skills in fights against enemies or players, making early grinding feel rewarding even before you understand the stat system. Most veterans eventually replace Combat with higher-tier options like Superhuman, Godhuman, or Sanguine Art once the Melee stat investment becomes viable. Even so, Combat earns its place as the foundation that teaches new players the core rhythm of melee combat in Blox Fruits.
Moves & Abilities
3 movesThe user punches with their fists 4 times.
The user dashes forward, tackling into any enemies nearby, knocking them back quite far, while leaving behind a whirlwind of air from the swiftness of their attack. * This move takes up less energy than regular dashing, despite traveling much further, making this useful if a low leveled user wants to conserve energy.
The user stomps their foot on the ground with devastating force, creating a medium shockwave that will knock away anyone within radius, leaving a huge crack on the floor and fragments of the ground tossed up in the air from the impact. * This move can slightly stun opponents, though it is not very useful for PvP being very close ranged. * When used in the air, there will be a hitbox that goes slightly beyond the normal range of the ground version, being able to hit opponents standing just below the user. However, when used too high, such as when using awakened Buddha's transformation, it cannot hit any regular sized enemies.

Combat — In-Depth Analysis
## What Is Combat?
Combat is the foundational fighting style of Blox Fruits, available from the very start of the First Sea. It represents the purest expression of bare-knuckle brawling — no flashy elemental coating, no unlockable prerequisites, just raw fists. For new players still figuring out the game's three-weapon-slot system, Combat is the training wheels that teaches you how M1 chains and skill timing actually work.
## Role and Who It's For
Combat is almost exclusively a learning tool and a First Sea placeholder. Because it lacks the elemental damage enhancement and the AoE reach that mid- and late-game styles provide, it falls sharply behind once you reach Sea 2 content. It has no documented Beli cost, mastery requirement, or fragment cost, which tells you everything: it's meant to be accessible, not competitive.
For absolute beginners, Combat is perfectly serviceable for early grinding and low-level PvP, but experienced players will move on as soon as a better style becomes purchasable.
- Best used: First Sea grinding and learning M1 timing fundamentals - Not recommended for: Second or Third Sea PvP, bosses, or bounty hunting
Tip: Use Combat as a controlled environment to practice the universal combo rhythm — fruit stun into M1 chain into finisher — before spending Beli on more specialized styles.
