Description

Human is the race every player starts with in Blox Fruits, making it the most familiar and accessible option in the game. It can be rerolled at any time through the in-game Shop, the Event Shop, or by speaking with the Death King NPC, giving players plenty of chances to move on — or return to it deliberately. Because it requires no special unlock, many beginners stick with it through the early seas without realizing they can change it. Despite its plain reputation, Human is not without value. Like all races, it can be awakened through Race Awakening quests to reach V2, V3, and eventually V4, unlocking progressively stronger passive bonuses with each tier. Its upgrades tend to offer well-rounded utility rather than a single dominant playstyle, making awakened Human a solid all-purpose pick for players who prefer flexibility over a niche specialization.

Pros9
  • +

Much greater Flash Step range and cooldown reduction.

  • +

Great pick for glass cannon or highly aggressive builds.

  • +

Could be an alternative to Cyborg's Energy Core for one-shot combos.

  • +

Great damage (from 50% HP or lower).

  • +

Insane mobility, useful for chasing enemies or evading.

  • +

Allows you to play hyper-aggressive by dashing around your opponent to intimidate and damage

  • +

Tier 2 comes with uncancellable attacks, making it extremely useful against anything with tick damage (e.g: T-Rex's Prey Mark, Infernal Pincer's burn damage and Cyborg as a whole).

  • +

Insane damage potential, when at high percentages, it is possible to do upwards of 7k damage (in a single hit) using the right move.

  • +

Makes dealing with teamers much easier because of the high damage output requiring less moves to be landed in order to get a kill.

Cons4
  • More focused towards damage and flash step, mostly accompanying one playstyle that may not be for everyone.

  • Can be risky in PvP, making the player vulnerable while they are at low HP for extra damage.

  • Still can be seen by Instinct.

  • Takes a while to deal a large amount of damage.

Human — In-Depth Analysis

## What Human Is and How to Get It

Human is the most common bloodline in Blox Fruits, with a 62.5% chance of being assigned at character creation — making it the race the majority of new players start with. You can also re-roll into it via Race Reroll or obtain it through the Event Shop and Death King. It's the least prestigious spawn-race to own, but its V4 awakening is meaningfully competitive.

## Role, Strengths, and Weaknesses

Human is a glass-cannon damage race focused on maximizing offensive output. Its V2 and V3 passives enhance Flash Step range and reduce its cooldown dramatically, giving Human one of the best mobility tools in straight-line chasing and evasion — even though it isn't considered a "speed race." The real payoff comes at V4, which adds a lifesteal-and-stun combo that's potent for sustaining through long fights. Damage scales up significantly when your HP is below 50%, rewarding an aggressive, risky playstyle.

The race's critical weakness is zero defense. Human rewards all-in aggression, and getting caught at low HP (where its damage bonus peaks) is a huge liability. The Flash Step improvements mainly benefit one specific playstyle; players who prefer ranged or defensive play will find little utility here.

Tip: Tier 2's uncancellable attacks are a hidden gem against tick-damage sources like T-Rex's Prey Mark or Cyborg's abilities — use that window deliberately to push through damage without being interrupted.
