Description

Electric Claw is one of the fighting styles in Blox Fruits — a class of melee martial arts that runs parallel to swords and devil fruits and lets you fight with weapon-style melee even while a fruit is on cooldown. Every Blox Fruits build runs exactly one fighting style, so picking the right one is one of the most important decisions a player makes after level 700. Fighting styles split into three buckets: PvP-oriented bursters (e.g. Godhuman, Sharkman Karate), sustain styles (Sanguine Art with its lifesteal), and grinding styles (Electric Claw with its AoE). Electric Claw fits its role inside this meta and is best paired with a sword and fruit that complement its damage profile. Electric Claw maxes out at mastery 400, with each level unlocking new skill ranges, damage scaling, and combo timing windows. The cleanest way to climb mastery is to pair this style with a fruit that has a stun-lock — landing the stun, then chaining Electric Claw M1s into a finisher is the per-second mastery xp ceiling. Electric Claw is obtained via: Previous Hero — Floating Turtle. Most Electric Claw combos start with a long-range fruit move to lock the enemy in stun, transition into a sword swap for the M1 ramp, then finish with the style's hardest-hitting skill. The exact framing depends on your fruit awakening level, but the core principle — fruit stun → sword filler → fighting-style finisher — is universal across most B+ tier loadouts.

Moves & Abilities

4 moves
M1
Electric Slashes

The user executes a series of four slashes with their claws toward the cursor. The user moves a short distance forward on each click.

Z
Electric Rampage
Mastery 110

The user rapidly slashes using their claws (which lasts longer if held), stunning the enemy, and then dashing forward, creating electric sparks, which also deal damage. This ability also causes the user to dash farther if held.

X
Lightning Thrust
Mastery 220

The user dashes forward where the cursor points. If the player touches the enemy, the player will push the enemy like a spear and then the player will make an electric explosion that deals high damage, as well as leaving the ground scorched with a blue electric pattern. After holding this skill for 1 second, a sound similar to Lightning's old [F] move regenerating will play. After releasing the attack, the distance traveled will be twice as far as just pressing the button. (This does not give any effect on the damage.)

C
Thunderclap and Flash
Mastery 330

The user dashes forward at their target at blinding speeds six times and then smashes them onto the ground, leaving the ground scorched with a blue electric pattern and bouncing the opponent into the air, stunning them for about 0.75 seconds. This move is also amazing for opening combos. Its movements are described to be akin to lightning ripping through the air.

Trivia

10
  1. 1

Somehow, the damage dealt to Sea Beasts with [Z] Electric Rampage is measly. (Probably because only the final slashes are counted as physical attacks, and it deals most of damage)

  2. 2

The player can use Flash Step while triggering [Z] Electric Rampage or [C] Thunderclap and Flash (only for mobile users) by pressing Flash Step first, then pressing "Use" [C] Thunderclap and Flash. This can be used for surprising enemies.

  3. 3

Players can turn Electric Claw's M1's to something useful. Using an auto clicker and setting the click interval to one millisecond, players can glide because the M1's of this fighting style has a short dash. This is similar to Dragon Talon.

  4. 4

If the player turns on the damage counter before using [X] Lightning Thrust, the damage counter will say 0 damage before it creates the explosion.

  5. 5

If [X] Lightning Thrust is held down long enough (approximately 30 seconds), the electrical effects and sound will stop but nothing else changes.

  6. 6

[X] Lightning Thrust can sometimes launch the user very far away if they have a low-end PC or high ping, making it great for traveling and running.

  7. 7

Sometimes, [X] Lightning Thrust can glitch the user under an island and into the water in raids. (Usually when their ping is high).

  8. 8

[C] Thunderclap and Flash sometimes glitches the user into the sea, killing them. The reason is unknown.

  9. 9

[C] Thunderclap and Flash can glitch the user under islands like Tiki Outpost and Sea of Treats.

  10. 10

The [X] Lighting Thrust move is the same sound as when Piranhas use their shocks.
