Description
Dark is an uncommon Elemental-type Devil Fruit purchasable for 500,000 Beli or 950 Robux. It grants the user full control over darkness, turning them immune to most physical attacks through Elemental Reflex. Unawakened, Black Hole conjures a massive shadowy void that drags enemies into its center, while Black Spiral generates a swirling dark vortex that traps and launches foes. On awakening — which costs 14,500 Fragments — the kit transforms dramatically: Dimensional Slash delivers a lightning-fast teleporting slash, and Ghastly Step leaves a phantom decoy behind to bait opponents. Awakened Dark is a top-tier PvP choice thanks to its long stuns, Instinct-breaking moves, and seamless combo potential with swords and guns. It also performs well in raids, with Black Hole locking down NPC groups for free damage.
Moves & Abilities
9 movesThe user pushes their hand forward, grabbing rocks from the ground and leaving a crater as rocks with a black aura are fired towards the direction they aimed at.
The user creates a black hole on their cursor, trapping anyone caught in it and dealing damage to them before they are launched away. This move does more damage and causes longer stun the longer it is held, and can be held for 3 seconds.
The user opens up a large black hole around them, causing damage to anyone who gets trapped in it. This move also levitates its target.
The user manifests a large orb of darkness, launching it towards their cursor, dragging targets inside of it, and dealing damage.
The user summons a dark sword and launches a small vertical slash toward their cursor. If landed, the user teleports near the target, and cuts them with the sword, dealing damage.
The user creates a vortex that lashes out dark tentacles in front of them, stunning and pulling in targets when holding the move, dealing damage.
The user creates a large dark hole that stuns targets, dealing rapid damage while getting bigger the longer it is held.
The user manifests a ravenous, spikey, dark sphere and launches it at their cursor. Afterwards, the sphere pulls targets towards it before imploding and launching them away, dealing damage.
The user teleports, leaving behind a purple afterimage of themselves, allowing them to avoid incoming attacks.

- 2has a much shorter range than Flash Step but can be used in the air.
- 3There is a glitch involving Dark [C] not allowing itself to hit Buddha users. This could be most likely due to the confusing hitbox of Buddha.
- 4To deal with this, aim it at the body of the Buddha user as that is where the main hitbox mainly is located.
- 5The old version of Dark is used by the Raid Boss, Darkbeard, the Dark Raid NPCs (Darkness/Dark users), the Possessed Mummy NPCs and the Elite Pirate, Diablo (the awakened version), as well as the NPCs and Boss in the Hell Dimension in the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle.
- 6The Dark users in the Dark Raid are not called Dark Users, instead they are called Darkness Users.
- 7Pre-rework unawakened [V] used to have a bigger explosion.
- 8Awakened Dark's has the same sound effects as Dark Blade's .
- 9There's a bug where if the user uses Unawakened and unequips/switches to another item in their hotbar after releasing the move, they'll be able to move around while throwing the rocks.
- 10Dark's icon was revamped.

Dark — In-Depth Analysis
Dark is a high B-tier to A-tier fruit in 2026 that has aged remarkably well. As a Logia, it grants elemental immunity pre-awakening and features a black hole move that sucks enemies in — one of the most reliable catch tools in the game. Awakened Dark is a full upgrade with dramatically improved damage and gravity-well extensions, making it a legitimate PvP pick especially in the second and third seas where players have the Fragments to awaken it.
Full Fruit stats, Cyborg race for extra damage reduction in drawn-out fights, and invest in awakening Dimensional Slash and the black hole pull moves first — these are your kill-confirm tools. Dark works well standalone but pairs nicely with Sharkman Karate for the close-range pressure after pulling opponents in. The awakened version's damage in sustained combo situations is genuinely impressive.
Dark costs 500,000 Beli or 800 Robux — fairly priced for what you get, especially post-awakening. Trade value is decent in the mid-tier range; the awakening upgrade path makes it appealing to players who want a PvP logia without spending the huge Beli cost of top-tier fruits. Solid value-hold and a reasonable trading chip.
