Description

Diamond is an Uncommon Natural-type Devil Fruit that costs 600,000 Beli or 1,000 Robux. Eating it lets you encase your entire body in diamond, granting powerful physical protection and the ability to conjure razor-sharp crystal shards as weapons. The transformation move Encrust activates your diamond form, and holding it down lets you exit that form at will. From there, moves like Shard Storm unleash barrages of crystal projectiles with wide hitboxes, while Shimmering Disruption uses your reflective body to blind and disorient nearby opponents. Diamond does not have an awakening, but its high natural defense and large-hitbox attacks make it a surprisingly strong PvP option at its price point. It works well for fruit mains who want durability combined with heavy offensive damage output.

Moves & Abilities

5 moves
Moveset
TAP
Radiant Lunge

The user lunges themselves in the direction of their cursor, damaging any enemies caught in their way. Upon contact with a surface, the tackle creates a crater that explodes with diamonds.

Z
Encrust
Mastery 1

The user's skin transforms into solid diamond while growing out two diamond spikes on their back, giving a 23% defense boost. Upon transformation, the user releases a large AoE blast of light. * Tapping the move will cause the user to fire diamond shards in all directions. * Hold down the move while transformed to untransform.

X
Shard Storm
Mastery 1

The user fires a storm of diamond shards from their hands, with the amount of shards fired depending on how long the move is held down for, before releasing a large, final shard that explodes on the opponent, dealing great damage. * It shares similar visuals to Ice's Ice Spears and mechanically resembles Tiger's Z move, Finger Revolver, and even comes with a final blast, just like Tiger.

C
Shimmering Disruption
Mastery 80

The user uses their body to reflect concentrated light, releasing a large AoE blast of light and dealing medium damage while simultaneously blinding hit enemies for 3 seconds, soft stunning them. This move can be held to slightly increase size and damage.

V
Prismatic Reflection
Mastery 110

The user creates a barrage of floating diamond mirrors in the air surrounding themselves. Each mirror releases a blue beam of concentrated light, dealing continuous damage to enemies caught in its radius.

Pros

15
  • Cheap and easy to obtain.
  • Good for sword/gun/fighting style mains due to [Z]'s defense buff, increasing their survivability.
  • Great for grinding and raids.
  • Good mobility move.
  • Hits multiple enemies when hitting a wall or the ground.
  • Can fling the user really far if used correctly
  • The defense boost is good for tanking bosses, players, and NPCs.
  • Quick transformation.
  • Deals damage while transforming.
  • Deals high damage if near a surface.
  • Good damage (if all projectiles hit).
  • Good stun.
  • Large AoE.
  • Blinds enemies for three seconds, making it a somewhat good combo starter and for running.
  • Auto-aims.

Cons

15
  • Most moves are close range and difficult to hit by themselves, making them require help from other attacks.
  • Not suitable for fighting against teamers.
  • Bad for grinding.
  • Can sometimes fling the player into water, causing the player to die (most likely unintended).
  • Easy to dodge.
  • Low damage.
  • Small range.
  • Mediocre damage if only a small amount of shards hit.
  • If held, the stun can prove a bit rough and can give the enemy a chance to escape.
  • Slight startup.
  • Not a lot of range if tapped.
  • Single target.
  • No stun.
  • Can be dodged.
  • Cannot break Instinct.

Trivia

10
  • 1is similar to an old move prior to the revamp, Beaming Tackle. Similarly, the revamped is a rework of Diamond Hail, and is the newer Solar Flare.
  • 2will deal around 3.5x more damage when used against a wall or corner.
  • 3Diamond is one of the few fruits in the game that can actively distort enemies. Others are Gravity, Quake and Venom.
  • 4Diamond has one of the largest differences between its physical model and its fruit icon (both the face, stem, and overall shape).
  • 5Diamond is one of the two fruits that is not Elemental and does not have an awakening.
  • 6Diamond is the only Natural Blox Fruit.
  • 7Diamond is one of the only non-beast type fruits that can transform, the others being Rubber, Venom and Gas.
  • 8For some reason, if the user's character does not have skin, will not turn their character blue.
  • 9This may be because the new Diamond changes the color of the user's skin, like Rubber, instead of coating their avatar with a diamond texture, which was the old Diamond.
  • 10There's a glitch that can make the user's avatar fling very far by using the [TAP] ability and right clicking tab to make their game lag. This can also be done by jump-dashing and tapping if the user has a weak device with high ping.
