Description
Shadow is a Mythical Natural-type Devil Fruit costing 2,900,000 Beli or 2,425 Robux. It gives the user mastery over darkness and ravens, built around an Umbra Meter that charges faster at night. Key moves include Somber Rebellion, a swift dash that transforms into a flock of crows with invincibility frames, and Nightmare Leech, a close-range lunge that deals heavy damage while siphoning health from the target. The ultimate ability Corvus Torment consumes the entire Umbra Meter to create a catastrophic dark explosion capable of removing over half an opponent's health in one hit. Shadow is not currently awakenable. In PvP it excels through its life-steal, i-frames, and burst damage, making it viable against a wide range of top-tier fruits. It sees use in raids for consistent AoE output, though its limited mobility requires careful positioning.
Moves & Abilities
5 movesThe user turns into a small dark orb of shadow, then dashes towards their cursor. Upon contact with an opponent, the user will turn into a swarm of crows and damage the enemy, then launch themselves upward, leaving the enemy on the ground. The user will receive i-frames during the duration of the move if they land it. This move is similar to Godhuman's Z (Soaring Beast) move.
The user shoots a swarm of crows towards the cursor. Upon surface contact, the swarm will explode, dealing damage and sending a few small crows which will then fly to a nearby enemy and damage them. The crows have slight auto-aim, and will attempt to fly towards the target if close enough. (Note: Multiple crows can attack the same target).
The user lunges forward. If the user makes contact with an enemy, the user will regain 20% of their max health and deal good damage to the enemy, knocking them back. This move is similar to Sanguine Art's [Z] (Bloodbane Drain) but the range is shorter and high end-lag. This move has a finisher variant, which makes the victim instantly explode on contact (health must be maximum half the damage of the move to activate).
The user inflates their body into a giant dark sphere, after which, they will explode, draining the entirety of their Umbra Meter and forming an "umbral" cloud. The explosion will do extreme damage and leave behind a swarm of crows, which will deal passive damage to any enemies inside the cloud. The enemies' vision will also get slightly distorted if they get hit by the explosion. The size of the black hole and explosion is based on how high the user's Umbra Meter is. The remains of the explosion don't really stun. Instead, it pulls the enemies back inside the remains of the move. However, it is possible to escape the explosion's remains using certain teleportation moves.
The user transforms into a swarm of crows, giving the user the ability to fly at a medium pace. Flying close to enemies will project crows at them, dealing damage. After 10 seconds, the user will return to normal. This move Injects 50 crows if fully held.

Trivia
10- 1Shadow is the only fruit that allows the user to utilize the life drain mechanic (just like Ghoul's life leech) by using [C] Nightmare Leech.
- 2Shadow is the only fruit with the Umbra Meter as it was designed only for itself.
- 3It is also one of the only fruits that have wings on their physical fruit model, along with Eagle, Spirit and Phoenix.
- 4"Umbra" in Latin means "shade" and/or "shadow", and "Corvus" in Latin refers to a "raven" or a "crow", both being types of birds. This ties into how many of the fruit's abilities have to do with crows/ravens flying at the enemy.
- 5Shadow's [Z], [X], [C] moves are quite similar to Godhuman's [Z], [X] (Tap Variant) and [C], having nearly identical range, cooldowns, and energy usage.
- 6Shadow is the rarest and most expensive fruit obtainable from a Fruit Box.
- 7This fruit has low value in trading due to its overall neglect. However, Shadow’s low trading value is due to low demand, not low power, making it one of the most “underrated but strong” fruits in the game. (If used correctly.)
- 8Shadow does not construct the user's body out of shadows, but rather, uses them in the form of attacks, hence why Shadow isn't Elemental, but rather a Natural fruit.
- 9Shadow actually doesn't use bats for attacks, but rather- crows. You can see the crows faces clearly if you have high ping, and see it has a beak and white eyes and small body. Which is weird because its physical appearance is a bat with a big grin.
- 10Shadow’s [C] is the only move with a finisher that makes the target burst on contact. Shadow and Dragon Talon are also the only abilities with finisher‑style variants in the game.
Shadow — In-Depth Analysis
Shadow Fruit is a Paramecia powerhouse that belongs firmly in A-tier for the 2026 meta, combining high burst damage, a stunning passive that manipulates opponents' movement, and one of the most visually striking move sets in the game. The ability to summon shadow soldiers for area denial makes it genuinely strong in both PvP and grinding contexts. In Sea 3 boss raids, the sustained damage from shadow minions is a legitimate DPS contribution. The awakening ramps the pressure up considerably, extending your shadow army's duration and adding moves with devastating stun potential. Among non-legendary fruits, Shadow competes directly with Quake and Dough for the title of best all-rounder.
Shadow is a Fruit-heavy fruit — go 2,450 Fruit stats and don't compromise. Shark V4 race is the recommended pairing for defensive sustain during the moments your shadow moves are on cooldown and opponents close the gap. Dark Blade or Cursed Dual Katana fills the melee gap beautifully. Awakening priority: Shadow Rush first for the mobility and burst combo opener, then the soldier summoning upgrade, then remaining moves. Full awakening sits around 18,500 fragments — expensive but absolutely worth it for the step change in power.
Shadow Fruit costs 2,900,000 Beli or 2,425 Robux, placing it in the expensive-but-justified tier. Trade value is strong upper mid-tier — you can realistically swap for Quake plus a top-up, or sometimes score an even trade for Soul depending on demand. The community genuinely wants it for its aesthetics as much as its power, keeping demand buoyant even when the meta shifts. If you find it in stock, buy immediately — it disappears within seconds of restocking.
