Night Cap guide
Night Cap is a retired Trinket, and its history is the interesting part. It gave +40% Stamina regeneration while extracting from a Machine, and it was earned with 100% Research on Twisted Astro. The wiki notes that it has since been replaced by Star Pillow, which kept the same unlock but raised the number to +100% on May 23, 2025. Night Cap is marked as no longer obtainable.
Its numbers changed several times before that. At first it fully restored Stamina when you entered a new Floor but cut maximum Stamina by 10%. On July 12, 2024 it became +33% regeneration while extracting, and a later patch moved it to +40%. Using the resting regeneration of 2.4 per second from the Statistics page, 40% would have been about 3.4 per second, against 4.8 for Star Pillow's 100%.
For a player today the practical meaning is simple: if you meet the name in an old video or guide, the working version is Star Pillow. The Twisted that used to drop it is still Twisted Astro, a Main Twisted, and the Astro Toon's own passive already boosts Stamina regeneration by 50%.
