Twisted Astro punishes sloppy Machine work more than it punishes sloppy running. Its chase speed of 19 is only tied for 8th among the 37 Twisteds with a recorded speed, and a walk speed of 10 is ordinary, so a Toon that sees it coming can usually pull away. The real threat is a hearing radius of 9999, which covers the whole floor: a failed Skill Check anywhere draws it in. If it finds no Toon, it charges to the Machine and strips half of its progress, undoing a lot of patient extraction.
When it does spot someone, it can apply Tired III to one Toon for 10 seconds and then waits out a 15 second cooldown. Its attention span is 3 seconds, so it does not lose interest quickly, and its vision reaches 30 in a circle and 70 straight ahead. Astro's own Toon has 5 stars of Stealth, which keeps you out of its sight longer, but only 2 stars of Skill Check, so the safest play is to avoid failing at all.
Astro is a Main Twisted: it starts with a spawn weight of 0 and one is forced every 20 floors. Reaching 100% Research unlocks the Star Pillow trinket, which doubles Stamina regeneration while you extract from a Machine.
