Alma

Alma is the entity you survive by not looking. She is a dark, grayscale humanoid who looks like a young adult, with pale skin and black hair, covering her eyes with her hands. When she attacks she uncovers them, appears to cry, stretches her arms toward you and screams at a high pitch. She lives in The Archives and the wiki credits her to the August 28, 2026 update.

When she shows up

She starts spawning at Sector J, and from then on she appears at least once in every sector, always in a special dark room at the sector's twenty-fifth room. You hear crying several rooms before it, louder as you get closer. Inside, she sits under a single light among what look like dead Drones, and she disappears when a player walks down onto her floor. Otherwise she appears out of view and circles you, trying to be seen.

How to avoid her

Look at the floor and turn away when she moves into focus. If you look at her for more than a second she becomes enraged and dashes at you about 3 to 5 times. A catch, or entering a closet, starts an eye-tracking minigame like Figure's heartbeat game: keep an eye icon inside a shrinking and growing one. Fail it and she deals continuous damage that can be fatal. If you avoid her long enough, she fades away. She can also spawn in the Forget-Me-Not metro station.
