Fih

Fih is the one entity in The Archives that wants nothing from you. The wiki calls Fih passive and decorative, in the same category as Caws, and jokes that they are supposedly one of the most important entities in the game. They live in Fih Tanks scattered across the office floor and are based on, well, fih. The wiki credits the entry to the August 28, 2026 update.

What they are

Their journal entry describes strange little aquatic entities that seem to be made of a plastic-like material, in a few different colors, and calls them kind of cute. It says they likely have no intelligence and act more like wind-up toys, because they just swim in circles. Yet the journal text also implies they are real fish rather than plastic toys, and that they are simply content with existing.

Fih Food

Many rooms with a Fih Tank also contain Fih Food. Almost every such room has some, and an absence is rare. Giving the food to the Fih earns an achievement, and that achievement is what unlocks their journal entry. That makes them one of the few pieces of The Archives where the reward is just the entry and a little peace. They deal no damage and ask you to do nothing, unlike Bash, Alma or Honcho elsewhere on the same floor.
