AR0xMBUSH

AR0xMBUSH is Ambush with a glitch: a distorted red version of the face, with widened eyes and a gaping mouth, constantly shrouded in particles. It is one of three glitched entities the Glitch Fragment can summon, and it has no page of its own; it is listed inside the Glitch Fragment entry. It was added on December 20, 2024.

What it does

After you interact with a Glitch Fragment, AR0xMBUSH can spawn. It makes noises like Ambush at a higher pitch and rebounds between one and six times at high speed, dealing 100 damage to anyone it sees. Its model speed value is 200. Surviving it gives the Trial and Error achievement along with the Fragment's rewards. The letters R0x in its name belong to a hidden Base64 string that spells GLITCH when all three glitched names are put together.

How to survive

Treat it like Ambush: in The Hotel jump in and out of the closet every time it passes. In The Mines switch lockers each pass because of Hide. In The Backdoor or The Rooms you can stay in the locker until it is over. A Crucifix makes it vanish after a few seconds with no animation, and a Starlight Jug, Bottle or Vial lets you survive a hit. The Afterimage modifier is a good practice tool. Its face texture can no longer be seen because Roblox moderated it.
