Glowstick

Glowsticks come in ten colors: red, orange, yellow, lime, green, teal, blue, purple, pink and white. The color is random, and you can reroll it by dropping a stick and picking it up again. That is the cosmetic side of an item that is mostly about distraction.

You crack it, throw it, and it tumbles a short way before shining brightly for some time. Once thrown it cannot be picked up again, and it only lights while it is lying in the world, not in your hand. Stacks go up to 10, and the wiki calls it very common in the containers of The Mines.

What it does for you

• Stuns Giggle on a direct hit, which awards the "Trickshot" achievement.
• Distracts Figure without being destroyed, unlike the Alarm Clock.
• Works in Firedamp rooms and gives light in a Gloombat room without hurting you, although Gloombats can destroy it.
• Floats on water instead of sinking.

Drawbacks

It attracts Figure and does not lower the chance of Screech spawning. Throwing is easier if you aim slightly upward. The Prize Inside candy in Trick Or Treat can hand you 10 at once.
