Honey Pot

The Honey Pot of Gold is not honey at all: it is a pot filled with gold, and throwing it so that it breaks gives you 500 coins. It is found on the floor of The Archives extremely rarely, on the ground or inside containers, but if Ransom has attacked a player it is almost guaranteed to appear.

The Ransom trick

Being attacked by Ransom on purpose can be useful, because the Honey Pot almost always spawns in the next room and the gold spawn rate rises a lot. That lets you pay the ransom as normal and then break the pot to get money to skip sectors quickly. The risk is a large next room: it can also appear in containers, so you may not find it before the timer runs out.

Rules

• The first break, whether by Ransom's attack or a teammate, awards the Gold Standard badge.
• It despawns when Ransom is no longer attacking anyone, unless someone has picked it up. If you keep it, you can later drop it for a teammate to break.
• With a full inventory you cannot pick it up because you cannot drop another item; the wiki advises carrying 5 items or fewer.
• Portrait cannot duplicate it any more.
