Giggle

Giggle waits on the ceiling, upside down, and you only find out it is there when it drops on your face. It is a pinkish-light gray creature with an oval head, four jointed tentacles, two rows of six white teeth and pink eyes, and it is the baby form of the Grumbles. It is 50 cm tall, was introduced in The Mines Update, and appears in The Mines, and in The Hotel with any Giggle modifier set.

The attack

If you walk under one, it detaches and lands on your face, blocking almost all your vision. It deals 10 damage on landing and 7 per bite, with 3 bites, up to 31 in total, while your character struggles to pull it off. Sound is muffled and echoing during the attack, which can hide the cue of a Screech spawning. Afterward it is thrown away, laughs on the ground and fades. It can spawn as early as Door 101 and often around 101 to 110, and it can sit above doors, where you cannot avoid it unless it is stunned.

Stopping it

Shine a Flashlight, Bulklight, Laser Pointer or Shakelight on it to stun it for about seven seconds; a Straplight does not work. Glowsticks thrown straight at it also stun it. A teammate interacting with it makes it dislodge and despawn. A Crucifix banishes it and grants the Not Funny achievement. In PARTY MODE it deals 15 on landing and 10 per bite, for 2 bites.
