Butterfly guide
Butterfly is the featherweight of Living Garden: a Rare fish weighing between 0.1 kg and 0.6 kg, averaging 0.2 kg. Its maximum weight ranks 641st of 663, near the bottom for size.
What saves it is the price per kg: roughly C$2,167. Because the fish is so light, that gives an average of C$433.33, which ranks 409th of the 742 documented fish, just under the midpoint of the table. It also grants 390 base XP, a solid return for a catch this small.
To catch it, use Nectar bait during the Day, in Clear weather, in Summer. All of those conditions need to line up, so plan around them rather than expecting it on a random cast.
The rod sold in Living Garden is Bloomspire, which is the obvious choice if you are buying for this zone.
Verdict: a good fish for its weight class. It is worth selling for the cash, and the XP makes it worth chasing in summer daylight.
