Glacial Crab guide

Krill is the bait listed for Glacial Crab, an Uncommon fish documented at Astral Observatory. The same entry pins it to the day, Foggy weather and Winter, and the wiki describes it as “A frosty crustacean with translucent shell plates that resemble carved ice.”

It is a small catch: 0.2 kg at the minimum, 0.5 kg on average and 0.8 kg at the maximum, which ranks 964th of 1,059 documented fish by maximum weight. The price per kilogram is better than the size suggests at C$168.75, giving an average value of C$84 (855th of 1,038) and a base 80 XP.

Astral Observatory documents 35 fish in total, and three other fish share the Uncommon rarity there: Antarctic Whitefish, Crescent Fish and Sea Bunny. The status is listed as obtainable.

Verdict: a light, low-value catch whose real interest is the narrow window in its listing, since Day, Foggy and Winter all have to line up.
