Pacific Hatchetfish guide

At no more than 0.2 kg, Pacific Hatchetfish is among the lightest fish documented, yet it carries the Mythical rarity. Its maximum weight ranks 1,037 of 1,059 documented fish, while its average sale value of C$2,700 ranks 315 of 1,038. The reason is the price per kg, listed at C$18,000; multiplied by the 0.15 kg average, that gives exactly the C$2,700 figure.

The wiki places it in Outer Deep, a zone with 19 documented fish where the only other Mythical is Japanese Linebelly Swallower. The listed conditions are Luminous Flakes as bait, Night, Rain and Spring. The weight range is 0.1 to 0.2 kg, and the base XP is 2,900.

Its entry reads "A delicate mesopelagic fish featuring tube-shaped eyes aimed upward to detect prey silhouettes."

Verdict: a high-value Mythical whose worth comes entirely from its price per kg, so it is a target for value and not for weight records.
