Peacock Squid guide

The wiki describes the Peacock Squid as "A small glass squid with vivid chromatophores and bioluminescent spots along its transparent body." It is a Common fish listed for the Astral Observatory, which documents 35 fish in total, and it shares its rarity there with four others: Celestial Crab, Northern Krill, Phytoplankton and Frozen Char.

The data lists Shrimp as the bait, with Night, Rain and Spring as its time, weather and season. Weight runs from 0.2 kg to 0.8 kg, averaging 0.5 kg, which puts its maximum at rank 964 of 1,059 documented fish. It sells at C$87.5 per kg for an average sale value of C$44, ranking 942 of 1,038 on that measure, and it grants a base XP of 40.

Those numbers make it a lightweight entry in both weight and value. Verdict: treat it as a collection and bait-matching fish for the Astral Observatory rather than a source of income, since an average catch returns only C$44.
