Porcufish guide
Porcufish belongs to the Animal Event, and it is flagged Limited, though the data lists it as currently obtainable. It is a spiky swimmer whose quills shimmer in dark waters. To hook it you need Squid bait, Rain, and Winter, and there is no restriction on the time of day.
Sizes go from 50 kg to 294 kg, averaging 95 kg, and at C$12.857 per kg an average fish is worth about C$1,221, plus 1,700 base XP. That is 304th of the 742 documented fish by average value and 227th of 663 by maximum weight. Compared with other Limited fish it is middling, but its XP is decent for the money.
Its roster mates in the Animal Event, all Limited, are Capybass, Cluckfin, Crocokoi, Duckfin Tuna, Krabbit and Kittyfish, so a session there can turn up any of seven animal-themed catches.
Because it is Limited, the point is availability more than payout. If the event is running and you have Squid in hand, wait for Rain in Winter conditions and take it for the collection and the 1,700 XP. If you only care about cash, the C$1,221 average is not worth reorganizing your plans, so keep it as a bonus catch.
