Taffy Trout

Up to 30.0 kg is documented for the Taffy Trout, a Limited fish listed under FischFright 2026 and Caustic Hallow. Its weights start at 10.0 kg and average 20.0 kg, which puts its maximum at 477th of 1,059 documented fish, a solid upper-middle position for weight.

The payout is plain arithmetic: C$15 per kg multiplied by the 20.0 kg average gives the C$300 average sale value, and the fish carries 290 base XP. That value ranks 638th of 1,038, so it is heavier than it is valuable. The wiki lists Taffy Pieces as its bait and Autumn as its season; time of day and weather are not listed. The FischFright 2026 zone has 41 fish, and the other 40 are also Limited, such as Alchemist Alligator, Broomstick Bass, Bubblegum Blobfish, Cauldron Catfish, Cobweb Cod and Coffin. The flavor text says it is "Stretchable, chewy, and tasting strongly of artificial fruit."

Verdict: a good-sized event fish with an ordinary payout; the wiki lists it as obtainable, as a limited/event fish.
