Whale Interior

Whale Interior is an obtainable zone, and the interesting thing about it is how little fishing it has: no fish are recorded for it. It is a social and shopping spot instead. Two NPCs live inside, the Event Appraiser and the Crazy Man, and the only rod sold here is the Merchant Rod, priced at E$20,000.

Note the currency. The price is in E$, not C$, which marks it as an event-currency purchase. Your regular C$ balance will not buy it, so the visit only makes sense if you have been collecting E$ elsewhere. The presence of an Event Appraiser points the same way: this is where event catches get valued.

My advice for planning: go to Whale Interior with a clear purpose. If you hold event currency and want the Merchant Rod, this is the stop. If you carry event fish that need appraising, the Event Appraiser is the reason to enter. If you only want to fill your regular fishing log or earn plain C$, skip it, because there is no catch table to work here. Treat it as an errand location, not a place to spend an afternoon casting.
