MiguRod

MiguRod can no longer be obtained, so this entry is about what it was rather than what you can buy today. It was listed at Underground Music Venue for C$4,014,014, with an in-game line calling it a joke that fulfilled its dream.

The stat spread was unusual. Lure Speed of 427 is very high and Luck of 237 is solid, with Control at 0.101 and a +4 Disturbance bonus. The catch is Resilience: -185, a hefty penalty that would make the line much easier to lose. It also had a passive.

On value, the price looks steep. Three rods that are sold for less carry equal or more Luck: Cinder Block Rod (luck 300, C$50,000), Destiny Rod (luck 250, C$190,000) and Heaven's Rod (luck 250, C$1,750,000). So the MiguRod was never the efficient choice for luck alone. Its draw was the very high Lure Speed and the novelty.

Other rods sold at the same venue include Cinderstring, Axe of Rhoads, Wingkeeper, Acidgrinder and Castbound, and those are the ones you can still look at if you are in that area. Treat the MiguRod as a piece of Fisch history: interesting stats, a gamble on Resilience, and not an option anymore.
