Nates Blade review
Nates Blade sits at the extreme end of the Black Market: it costs C$200,000,000, and its description says it was created from Kee-Oth's Blood by Nate's father as a sword for one specific player. It carries a passive.
Its numbers justify the headline price in one respect only. 444 Luck ranks 1st of 184 obtainable rods, so nothing you can buy has more. 119 Lure Speed ranks 19th and 44 Resilience ranks 29th, both strong. The weak point is Control: 0 puts it 141st of 185, close to the bottom. No weight cap is listed.
That is a very lopsided rod: top-tier Luck and speed, but poor handling. You need to be comfortable keeping fish on the line without Control's help.
At C$200,000,000, this is a late-game purchase for players who already have everything else and want the highest Luck on offer. Bone Blade, Electric Guitar, Sword of Darkness, Sword of light and Upside-Down Rod are the other items sold at the Black Market, so you can compare before committing. For everyone else, the price puts it far out of reach.
