Tidal

Tidal is a x5 crop mutation, so a crop that carries it sells for five times its base value in Sheckles. It does not wait for a particular forecast. Instead it comes from pets: the Seahorse, Manta Ray, Jellyfish, Hippocampus and Dolphin can all apply it.

All five pets belong to the High Tide Harvest Event of July 2026, which is why Tidal feels tied to that update's sea theme. The wiki lists only these pets as its source, so if you want the mutation, collecting one of them is the way in.

A x5 multiplier sits in the middle of the mutation scale, well below the x15 and x20 tiers, yet it is a clear step up from the x2 and x3 mutations that most players see first. Treat it as a reliable way to raise the value of each harvest rather than a jackpot. In the mutation list it sits alongside other x5 entries such as Drenched and Plasma.
