Grow a Garden Fairy Favors: Wishing Well Rewards Guide

Quick Summary

How the Fairy Favors questline works in the Fairy Event 2026: the five stages, every Wishing Well reward with its odds and what each prize does, summarized from the wiki.

The Fairy Event 2026 in Grow a Garden runs from October 10 to October 17, 2026, according to the community wiki, and almost everything in it flows through one system: the Fairy Favors questline at the Wishing Well. You hand in glimmering crops, finish five stages, and the well pays out Fairy Points and a pick of three rewards. This guide explains how that questline works, lists every reward the wiki documents with its odds, and shows what each prize actually does. Everything here comes from the wiki pages for the event and its items. None of it comes from our own in-game testing, and the pages are still marked as stubs, so numbers can change as the developers patch the game.

What Fairy Favors are

The wiki describes Fairy Favors as the main mechanic of the event. At the Wishing Well you can submit crops that carry the Glimmering mutation. The crops come from the Seed Shop, and sometimes from plants that grow out of an Enchanted Seed Pack. Which plants the well asks for is random, and you have to complete the request five times in a row to finish the questline. After that you can start again by paying 7,500 Fairy Points.

Glimmering is a crop mutation that fairies apply to a fruit. The wiki's page on the fairies says they apply the mutation to one random fruit when you interact with them. So the loop is simple: get fairies to sparkle your crops, harvest the glimmering fruit, and bring it to the well.

The five stages

Each stage asks for a different set of plants and pays a different amount of Fairy Points. The wiki lists the pool of plants for each stage, and the game picks from that pool at random.

StagePlants that can be requestedFairy Points reward
1Strawberry, Blueberry, Orange Tulip, Tomato, Corn, Daffodil500
2Tomato, Corn, Daffodil, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Apple, Bamboo, Orange Tulip550
3Watermelon, Pumpkin, Apple, Bamboo, Coconut, Cactus, Dragon Fruit, Mango, Pepper1,200
4Coconut, Cactus, Dragon Fruit, Mango, Grape, Sunbulb, Glowthorn, Mushroom, Pepper, Cacao2,300
5Lightshoot, Glowthorn, Grape, Mushroom, Pepper, Cacao, Beanstalk, Ember Lily, Sugar Apple, Burning Bud, Giant Pinecone, Elder Strawberry, Romanesco5,000

Three details matter here. First, Sunbulb, Glowthorn and Lightshoot are marked on the wiki as "can be normal", which means a plant without the Glimmering mutation is accepted for those. Second, the early stages ask for cheap crops that most players already grow, so stage 1 and 2 are mostly a question of waiting for fairies to sparkle enough fruit. Third, stage 5 is the first one that asks for expensive plants such as Beanstalk or Elder Strawberry, so it is worth keeping a few glimmering fruit in your bag as you go.

If you add up the five stage rewards listed above you get 9,550 Fairy Points for one full run. That is our own addition of the wiki numbers. Since a restart costs 7,500 Fairy Points, the stage rewards alone leave you 2,050 Fairy Points ahead per loop, before counting anything the Wishing Well gives you.

Wishing Well rewards by tier

When you complete a Fairy Favor, the wiki says you have a chance to receive a choice of three rewards from a tier list. Think of it as a small shop where you pick one of three random offers. The odds below are the ones printed on the event page.

One oddity: on the wiki's table the Fairy Bell row for tier 4 is internally labelled as the Enchanted Egg, but the Fairy Bell page confirms 15.15% for tier 4, so we list it as five Fairy Bells.

How to read the table

The tiers grow with your progress, so the best prizes only show up later. Flutter Freesia, one of the new mythical seeds, appears only in tier 5 at 5.41%. The Enchanted Egg also appears only in tier 5, at 8.11%. Pet Shard Glimmering starts in tier 3 at 1.72% and climbs to 3.03% in tier 4 and 5.41% in tier 5. If you want those rare prizes, the table says the way to get them is to keep finishing Fairy Favors rather than stopping after the cheap early stages.

What the prizes do

Fairy Chest

The Fairy Chest is the event's main loot box. The wiki lists six possible results: Jellycap Seed 35%, Wolpertinger 35%, Glimmervine Seed 14.5%, Redcap 14.5%, Prism Plume Seed 0.5% and Manticore 0.5%. Those six add up to 100%, so every opening is one of the three seeds or one of the three new pets. Our separate guides cover the new fairy seeds and the new fairy pets in detail.

Fairy Crate

The Fairy Crate takes one hour to open. Its prizes are cosmetics: Fairy Lightpost 25%, Enchanted Rug 25%, Magic Workbench 20%, Magic Mirror 15% and Log House 5%. Nothing in the crate changes how your garden grows, so it is for decoration only.

Fairy Bell

The Fairy Bell is a gear you ring on a pet. The wiki says it gives the pet 3% of its current level's XP, with a 5% chance to give 15% instead. Because it is a percentage of the current level, it is worth more on a pet that already has a high level. You can see the full list of gears on our gear page.

Glimmering Radar

The Glimmering Radar detects crops with the Glimmering mutation and collects them. After you activate it, a bubble grows around your character, and once it reaches its maximum size every glimmering fruit inside is moved into your inventory. It ignores favorited fruit, which is useful if you want to keep a particular fruit safe. This is the shortcut for the Fairy Favors: fewer minutes walking around picking sparkling fruit one by one.

The Glimmering Radar
The Glimmering Radar

Fairy Targeter

The Fairy Targeter makes nearby crops more likely to be made Glimmering by fairies. Place it next to the crops you plan to hand in and the fairies are more likely to pick them. The wiki gives the item pages for the Radar and the Targeter from the original 2025 fairy event, so treat the exact strength of the effect as unknown.

Pet Shard Glimmering

The shard applies the Glimmering mutation to a pet. The wiki says a glimmering pet sparks a nearby fruit about every 25 minutes, with a chance of applying Glimmering to it. If you already have a mutated pet, using the shard asks you to confirm replacing its current mutation. You can read more on the Glimmering pet mutation page.

Fairy Points

Fairy Points are the currency of the event. You get them from Fairy Favors, from the Wishing Well rewards above and from interacting with roaming fairies. You spend them on the Fairy Godmother's upgrades and on the repeat of the questline.

A simple plan for the week

This is our own suggestion based on the numbers above, not a tested strategy.

  1. 1Place a Fairy Targeter or two near the crops you intend to hand in before fairies show up.
  2. 2Grow a few of each cheap crop on the stage lists, since stages 1 to 3 draw from common plants.
  3. 3Keep your best glimmering fruit for stage 5, where the list includes expensive plants.
  4. 4Use a Glimmering Radar once fairies have been through your garden, so you collect everything in one go.
  5. 5Spend Fairy Points on upgrades rather than leaving them unspent. Our Fairy Godmother upgrade guide shows the cost of each tier.

When you run out of wishes the screen above appears. That is the cue to start a new loop for 7,500 Fairy Points, or to go back to growing fruit.
