The past-tense availability means there is no seed to plan around and no quest path left to grind: its value now lives entirely in scarcity and the secondary trade market.

That changes the calculus completely. As a mythical shadow variant locked out of current play, any surviving copy is a finished collectible rather than a farmable income source. You cannot weigh seed cost against sell price because neither applies the way it would for a shop crop; what matters is condition, mutation quality, and how few players still hold one. The shadow skin plus mythical tier makes it a genuine flex piece.

If you already own one, the smart move is to preserve a well-mutated specimen, ideally a Golden or Rainbow with a stacked weather mutation like Wet or Chilled, since that combination commands the strongest demand among collectors. Do not expect to acquire it through normal farming; treat it strictly as a trophy or trade asset whose worth rises the longer the event stays closed.
