With no listed seed cost, sell price, or growth time, its economics aren't measured in raw harvest profit the way a cash crop like Carrot or Corn would be; treat the numbers gap as a sign this is a novelty or event-tied item, not a planting-loop staple.

That changes how you should value it. When a crop has no transparent sell price, its worth is mostly collection and flex value, plus whatever rare mutation rolls land on it. If you do hold one, the smart play is to let mutations stack before selling, since a thorny showpiece with Rainbow or Gold layered on top is the only realistic path to a meaningful payout from it.

For progression, don't chase the Crown of Thorns as an income engine.
