Devilroot

The Devilroot is a limited Legendary crop from the third expansion of the Halloween Event, and its Legendary tier is the headline economic fact. Legendaries sit well above commons and rares on base sell value, so a Devilroot is genuinely worth farming for income rather than just collection, the higher floor means even a plain harvest returns meaningfully, and a good mutation roll scales from a strong base instead of a weak one.

That higher base is also why mutation stacking pays off so well here. On a Legendary, a Gold or Rainbow multiplier is applied to a large starting number, so the absolute Sheckle gain dwarfs the same multiplier on a low-rarity crop. If you can layer a weather or event mutation on top during a Halloween-themed buff window, the Devilroot becomes one of your stronger payouts.

Because it is limited and tied to a past Halloween expansion, you cannot restock it, so existing Devilroots are mid-to-late progression assets worth protecting. Don't sell them raw early, hold until you have proper buffs and a mutation, and you will extract far more value from each Legendary plant.
