Three type tags means three separate categories of pets and gear can buff it, so Dragon Fruit benefits from far more synergy items than a single-typed crop. A tropical-boost pet plus a fruit-targeting pet can both apply at once, multiplying your effective yield per plot.

For mutations, its solid mythical base rewards weight stacks like Gold and Rainbow, and because it harvests repeatedly you get many chances to roll favorable environmental mutations over the plant's life.
