Wheatcap

Wheatcap breaks the pattern of most crops in this batch: it is a Legendary plant from the third part of the Harvest Moon Event (August 15, 2026) that gives a single harvest. Where multi-harvest crops keep producing, a Wheatcap is gone once you pick it, and the wiki tags it as Single Harvest alongside Fungus, Night, Stalky and Vegetable types.

Getting the seed was a matter of progress, not purchase. It came from Moon Crafting, and only after you had summoned 8 Harvest Moons. That requirement turned it into a reward for players who kept taking part in the event. The wiki says it is not currently obtainable.

Because it is single harvest, the plan for a Wheatcap is different. You plant it, let it grow, and collect once, so any benefit has to come from that single pick. Mutations multiply the sell value of produce, so a good mutation before harvesting matters more here than on a plant that gives you many chances.
