Few eggs get this many re-runs, so its supply is healthier than a true one-off limited.

The practical detail to plan around is the 4 hour 10 minute hatch time, which is long. You cannot impulse-open these; you queue them up and come back, so it rewards players who manage hatch slots deliberately rather than grinding in one sitting.

My take: its value lives in the night-themed pet pool, not the egg itself. Because it has been reissued so often, do not overpay in trades, there is usually another route to get one. If you have unhatched Night Eggs, slot them before a long break so the 4h10m timer runs while you are away. It is a steady, collectible-grade egg rather than a scarcity gamble.
