The Fall Market Event 2026 was the autumn event of Grow a Garden, and the community wiki lists it as running from September 19 to October 10, 2026, with the Fairy Event 2026 coming right after it. It used Sheckles as its currency, so almost everything in its shops was bought with the money you already earn from selling crops. The event came in three parts: the Update Log lists updates 1.68.0 on September 19, 1.69.0 on September 26 and 1.70.0 on October 3 for Parts 1, 2 and 3. This guide is a recap of how the event worked: the Fall Bloom, the Harvest Spirit, the shops and their unlock requirements, Fall Activities, the Acorn Chaos, the Shady Scarecrow and the Fall Shovel. It is based only on the wiki pages for the event and its items. The event page is marked as a stub and none of this comes from our own in-game testing.
How the event worked
The idea was a market that grew as the whole server took part. A Harvest Spirit NPC on the event island asked for plants, and every time you contributed to the Fall Bloom you unlocked more items in the shops. The wiki says the event shops restock every 15 minutes, and that taking part in the Fall Bloom restocks them right away.
Fall Bloom
You started the Fall Bloom by submitting plants to the Harvest Spirit. The spirit asks for plants by trait, and the wiki lists seven possible traits: Berry, Fruit, Flower, Vegetable, Tropical, Prickly and Woody. The Fall Bloom occasionally mutates plants and gives the player one of five possible rewards. Just like in earlier events, you could submit plants that carry growth mutations for extra points.

The Harvest Spirit's own dialogue says it is an aspect of the Heartseed that watches over fall and its markets, and that it restocks the market when enough offerings are gathered. You can feed it the fruit you are holding, or choose the option to feed all your applicable plants at once.
The Fall Festival shops
Some items were only unlocked after you contributed to the Fall Bloom a number of times. That is the part that mattered most for planning, so here are the shop tables with their requirements.

The Autumn Seed Pack is the one shop item with a list of contents on the wiki: Chestnut 40%, Emberbloom 25%, Russet Root 20%, Fall Cauliflower 10%, Grain Lily 4.5% and Autumn Apple 0.5%.

The Red Panda needed 50 contributions to the Fall Bloom and had a 1.67 percent stock chance, the hardest pet in the shop to buy. The Fall Egg is the one the wiki gives a pet list for, but that list comes from the 2025 version of the event (Robin 55%, Badger 32.5%, Grizzly Bear 10%, Barn Owl 1.5%, Swan 1%), so it may have changed. For the 2026 Autumn Egg the wiki lists Scarf Dog 55%, Skunk 35%, Llama 9.5% and Enfield 0.5%.

The Golden Acorn was the most expensive item in the shop tables at 10,000,000,000 Sheckles. The Fall Crate was sold at 50,000,000 Sheckles with no requirement, and the Autumn Crate at 10,000,000 after five Fall Bloom contributions. The Autumn Crate holds Pumpkin Chair 25%, Gourd Lantern 25%, Fall Rug 25%, Cornucopia 15%, Spice Rack 7% and Drink Press 3%.
Fall Activities
Fall Activities were a quest list. Each completed quest gave 20 Fall Energy, and you got one reward when you reached 50 Fall Energy and more at each higher step. After 500 Fall Energy you received one extra reward for every additional 500. The wiki lists 25 quests, such as harvesting 20 Corn, planting 3 Turnips, hatching a Fall Egg, opening an Autumn Crate, feeding a pet soup or placing a Bonfire. At 20 Fall Energy each, the 25 listed quests add up to exactly 500, though the page does not say whether all 25 were available at once.

Acorn Chaos
The Acorn Chaos happened every 30 minutes and lasted 5 minutes, dropping a total of 5 acorns across the map. You found a fallen acorn and hit it with a Shovel. Each hit did 1 damage, and when the acorn cracked it gave a random reward from its type.

Shady Scarecrow
The Shady Scarecrow NPC ate any seed you gave it, with a 10-minute cooldown before the next one. The rarity and variant of the seed made up a seed score, and a higher score gave better chances at rare rewards. Rarity scores run from Common 1 up to Transcendent 8, and variants add a bonus, from Silver +0.5 and Gold +1 up to Rainbow, Diamond and Ember +2. Easter seeds and Honey seeds could also be submitted.

The lesson from the table is that a score of 10 makes the Scarecrow pet roughly 30 times more likely than a score of 1 (9.54 divided by 0.30). Feeding it a high-rarity seed with a variant is worth far more than feeding it a common one.
Fall Shovel and the Fall Collection
The Fall Shovel was a shovel skin exclusive to the event. You claimed it from the Fall Collection once you reached 80 percent completion. The collection tracks seeds, pets and cosmetics: 16 seeds (starting with Turnip, Parsley and Meyer Lemon), 20 pets (from Scarf Crow to Scarecrow) and 22 cosmetics.
