It carries a modest 1,000 hunger pool, which keeps feeding light but means its uptime is nothing like the marathon Divines.

The Dog's real defining detail is that its ability is identical to the Golden Lab but at roughly a 5% trigger instead of ~10%. In other words, it does the same job—occasionally digging up a bonus—at half the proc rate, which makes it strictly the budget version of that effect. For an early garden it is genuinely useful free value, exactly the kind of small, reliable edge a starter farm wants.

Does it earn a serious-team slot? Honestly, no—not on a competitive lineup. Once you can hatch rarer pets, the Dog's halved Golden-Lab proc and shallow hunger bar make it a clear early-game stepping stone rather than an endgame keeper. Run it while you build, then graduate it to the bench as stronger pets come online.
