Gecko

The Gecko is a Common pet introduced during the Safari Harvest Event, and its rarity tier tells you most of what you need to plan around. Commons are the cheapest, most-hatched entries from their egg, so the Gecko is the kind of pet you collect almost by accident while chasing the rarer Safari drops. That accessibility is its whole identity: easy to obtain, easy to duplicate, and easy to feed.

In a farming build, a Common like the Gecko is rarely a permanent fixture on a finished team. Its value is early-game and utility-driven, filling a slot while you bank Sheckles toward legendary or mythic pets whose passives meaningfully multiply harvest output. If its ability nudges a single crop type or gives a small mutation chance, treat it as a stepping stone rather than a centerpiece.

Where the Gecko genuinely shines is as trade fodder and event nostalgia. Because the Safari Harvest window has passed for most rotations, even a Common can carry minor collector interest, and stacking duplicates can be folded into pet fusion or sold off cheaply. Keep one for the dex, retire the rest, and do not let a Common occupy a slot a power pet deserves.
