It drops from the Evil Bunny Rewards at a punishing 0.5% chance, meaning roughly one in two hundred pulls. That is genuine endgame rarity: most players who own one ground the event hard or paid a steep trade, which is exactly why it sits near the top of the Easter prestige ladder.
For a farming build, a divine of this scarcity is meant to be a centerpiece. Divines occupy the highest pet tier in the game, so the Orchid Mantis is the sort of pet you build a roster around rather than slot in casually, both for its in-play contribution and for the standing it gives your account.
On a serious team it absolutely earns a permanent slot if you can land it.
