Grow a Garden Fairy Godmother Upgrades: What to Buy First

Guide
By RBLXGUIDESunday, October 11, 20269 min read

Quick Summary

Every Fairy Godmother upgrade in the Fairy Event 2026 with its Fairy Points cost, running totals, the gaps in the wiki tables and a suggested buying order.

Fairy Points are only useful if you know where to spend them, and in the Fairy Event 2026 of Grow a Garden the place to spend them is the Fairy Godmother. According to the community wiki, she upgrades four separate stats: the Glimmer Multiplier, the Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount, the Fairy Event Duration and the Fairy Spawn Amount. Each stat has ten or nine tiers, and each tier costs more than the last. This guide puts every cost in one place, adds up what each track costs in total, and points out where the wiki tables look incomplete so you do not waste points on a guess. It is based only on the wiki pages for the event and the Fairy Godmother, not on our own in-game testing. The event page is still marked as a stub, so treat the numbers as a snapshot.

Who the Fairy Godmother is

The Fairy Godmother is an NPC whose role, as the wiki puts it, is to upgrade the Wishing Well. Her dialogue explains the whole loop in three lines: talk to the fairies and use the Wishing Well to get Fairy Points, bring the points to her, and choose your upgrades. She also says that offering Glimmering fruit at the fountain powers it up, and that finishing the fountain's tasks powers it up instantly and grants you a wish. To open the upgrade screen you pick the dialogue option "Show me the upgrades".

If you want to know where Fairy Points come from, read our guide to the Fairy Favors and Wishing Well rewards. In short, a full run of the five Fairy Favor stages pays 9,550 Fairy Points by our addition of the wiki numbers, and the Wishing Well adds more on top.

The four upgrade tracks at a glance

The wiki lists these four stats. Costs are in Fairy Points.

UpgradeWhat it changesStartBest listed valueTotal cost of the listed tiers (our sum)
Glimmer MultiplierHow strong the glimmer bonus is1x2x at tier 10324,500
Roaming Fairy Spawn AmountHow many roaming fairies appear312 at tier 71,181,500
Fairy Event DurationHow long the fairy event lasts10 minutes20 minutes at tier 10403,200
Fairy Spawn AmountHow many fairies are spawned312 at tier 9315,500

The event page also states a grand total of 1,072,200 Fairy Points to upgrade every stat, and a total of 313,000 for the Fairy Spawn Amount table. Neither number matches the rows. Adding the rows of all four tables gives 2,224,700 Fairy Points, and the Fairy Spawn Amount rows add up to 315,500. The wiki has not been corrected yet, so we use our sums from the listed rows and recommend you plan around the individual tier costs instead of the totals.

Glimmer Multiplier

The Glimmer Multiplier goes up by 0.1x per tier, from 1x to 2x. The wiki does not spell out exactly what the multiplier scales, so treat it as a boost to the glimmer bonus.

TierMultiplierCostRunning total
11.1x500500
21.2x1,0001,500
31.3x3,0004,500

81.8x60,000124,500
91.9x80,000204,500
102x120,000324,500

The running total column is our own addition. It shows how the cost climbs: the first five tiers cost 19,500 combined, while tiers 6 and 7 alone cost 45,000.

Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount

This track controls how many roaming fairies show up. Fairies are the NPCs that apply Glimmering to a random fruit and, in the fairy world or during the Fairies weather, give out Fairy Points when you interact with them.

TierSpawn amountCostRunning total
142,5002,500
255,0007,500

8not listed200,000431,500
9not listed300,000731,500
10not listed450,0001,181,500

Look at tiers 8, 9 and 10. The wiki shows a dash for the spawn amount and still lists costs of 200,000, 300,000 and 450,000. Together that is 950,000 Fairy Points, which is about 80 percent of the whole track, for an effect the wiki does not describe. Until the page is filled in, we would not spend on those tiers on the strength of the table alone. Also notice the jump from tier 4 to tier 5, where the amount goes from 7 to 10 for 25,000 points. That is the biggest single jump in the listed amounts, three extra fairies in one step.

Fairy Event Duration

The duration track lengthens the fairy event by one minute per tier, from 10 minutes up to 20.

TierLengthCostRunning total
111 minutes2,5002,500
212 minutes5,0007,500

818 minutes61,000187,000
919 minutes80,000267,000
1020 minutes136,200403,200

Every tier adds exactly one more minute, and every tier costs more than the one before. The last minute alone costs 136,200 points, more than the first seven tiers put together, which cost 126,000. If you only want to double your event time, you are paying 403,200 in total.

Fairy Spawn Amount

The last track raises how many fairies spawn, from 3 to 12.

TierFairies spawnedCostRunning total

71052,000143,500
81174,000217,500
91298,000315,500

The wiki's own header for this table is slightly broken, and its stated total of 313,000 is 2,500 lower than the rows add up to. Use the row costs.

What to buy first

This part is opinion, built from the numbers above. It is not a tested strategy.

  1. 1Cheap early tiers on all four tracks. The first tier of each track costs only 500 to 2,500 points, so all four first tiers together cost 8,000 Fairy Points, about the price of restarting the Fairy Favors questline once (7,500).
  2. 2The Glimmer Multiplier up to tier 5. It costs 19,500 in total, and each step is cheap compared with the other tracks.
  3. 3Roaming fairies up to tier 5. The jump from 7 to 10 roaming fairies for 25,000 is the largest single step in the table.
  4. 4Duration and spawn amount in the middle tiers. Tiers 3 to 5 cost 25,000 or less each.
  5. 5Hold off on the expensive tail. The final tiers cost tens or hundreds of thousands for one extra minute or one extra fairy, and three roaming tiers have no listed effect.

Fairy Points and time

The event page lists the Fairy Event 2026 as running from October 10 to October 17, 2026. That is one week. A full pass through Fairy Favors pays 9,550 points and the restart costs 7,500, so the quest alone will not carry you through the whole 2,224,700-point shopping list. The wiki also notes that fairies hand out Fairy Points when you interact with them in the fairy world or during the Fairies weather, so catching fairies matters as well.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Fairy Godmother do? She upgrades the Wishing Well. You talk to her, pick "Show me the upgrades" and spend Fairy Points.

How many upgrades are there? Four: Glimmer Multiplier, Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount, Fairy Event Duration and Fairy Spawn Amount.

Can I buy everything? The wiki says a total of 1,072,200 Fairy Points covers all stats, but the listed tier costs add up to 2,224,700. Plan for the tier costs.

Which upgrade should I buy first? We suggest the first tier of every track, then the Glimmer Multiplier to tier 5.

Is this based on in-game testing? No. It is a summary of the community wiki, and the wiki marks the event page as incomplete.
