Ice Rink

The Ice Rink is one of Grow a Garden's rare interactive weather events, and it breaks the usual mutation-farming routine entirely. The moment it starts, your character automatically equips skating boots, and a set of hoops spawns around the map. The reward loop is purely skill-based: skate through every hoop before the event clears and you receive a random gift for completing the circuit.

Because the payoff is a surprise drop rather than a guaranteed crop mutation, the optimal play is to drop whatever you are harvesting the instant the rink appears and prioritize the hoop run — the gift can roll into seeds, sheckles, or cosmetic items you would otherwise grind hours for. Learn the hoop layout early: the boots make movement slippery, so cutting tight corners and chaining hoops in a smooth loop matters more than raw speed.

Treat the Ice Rink as a free lottery ticket layered on top of normal play. It does not buff your plots, but skipping the circuit wastes a genuinely rare event window, so always finish the full ring of hoops before the timer expires.
