Zen Channeller

The Zen Channeller is the menacing twist on the Zen Aura, tied to the Corrupted Zen Event (the NPC itself was added on July 19, 2025). Visually it mimics Zen Aura with pixel particles and leaves revolving around the skybox, except everything is recolored an ominous red instead of the calm original palette.

Its mechanical core is a steady, predictable drip of corruption: every 30 seconds, the Channeller summons an orb that applies the Corrupt mutation to a random crop. That fixed cadence is the key to exploiting it. Because targeting is random, the way to maximize value is to flood your plot with as many living crops as possible before and during the event, raising the odds that each orb lands on something worth selling.

The Corrupt mutation stacks with other mutations for a multiplied payout, so the highest profit comes from feeding the Channeller crops that already carry valuable growth or environmental mutations, then letting corruption pile on top. Keep replanting after each harvest so there is never an empty tile during an orb tick. Over a full event, that two-orbs-per-minute rhythm can corrupt a large share of a dense garden, turning a normally sinister weather into a reliable money engine.
